形態特徵

• Erect or pendulous. Stems 10-50 cm long, ca. 3 mm in diam., simple or rarely branched, internodes 1-3 cm long.
• Leaves terete, 10-20 cm long, 2-3 mm in diam., fleshy, rigid, articulated with sheath; sheath tubular, 1-3 cm long, rugose, persistent.
• Racemes 5-10 mm long; bracts minute, 1-2 mm long; pedicel and ovary 1-1.5 cm long, thick, glabrous. Flowers few, greenish yellow, fleshy; sepals often with purple dots or short lines especially outside, oblong, 8-11 mm long, 4-6 mm wide, lateral ones slightly longer, oblique, concave, keeled; petals falcate-oblong 9-13 mm long, 3-6 mm wide, roundedobtuse at apex; lip oblong, 10-14 mm long, 5-8 mm wide, thick and fleshy, greenish yellow, with irregular dark purplish spots or patches, lateral lobes triangular, 1.5-2 mm long, erect, midlobe oblong, 8-12 mm long, with 2 lobules at apex, sometimes thickly mucronate or apiculate in sinus, lobules 1-3 mm long, acute, apex truncate or rounded; column 2-3 mm long, yellowish or tinged with purple; anther nearly orbicular, 2 mm across; pollinia ellipsoid, 1.5 mm long, sulcate in center, stipe 1 mm long, viscidium large, oval, 1.5 mm broad.
• Capsules clavate-fusiform, to 3 cm long.

分布

• 台灣 : on tree trunks in forests below 1,500 m throughout.
• 世界 : Southern China, Japan and the Ryukyus.
