形態特徵

• Terrestrial herbs. Stems long creeping below, noded distantly, ascending above, up to 15 cm tall, leafy upward.
• Leaves green, obliquely elliptic, 3-7 cm long, 2-2.8 cm wide, acute at apex, attenuate or rounded at base, 3-nerved, veins silver color, shining, lateral ones more prominent and joining midrib at apex.
• Inflorescence 5-10 cm long, shorter pedunculate; peduncle hairy, subtended by several bracts; floral bracts lanceolate, hairy outside, ciliate at margins. Flowers 3-15, dense; ovary 8 mm long, hairy; sepals not spreading, pale greenish-brown or red-brown, with whitish edges, ovate, 7-10 mm long, 3.5- 5 mm wide, hairy outside, lateral ones oblique; petals somewhat rhombic, 8-10 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, with or without reddish colour on upper half, closely appressed to dorsal sepal, often slightly concave at apex, joined together at contacted margins; lip cymbiform, 6-8 mm long, base saccate, hairy within, limb narrow, straight or slightly recurved at apex, white tinged with red-brown on underside of margins, grooved along midrib, convex at both sides; column, 5-7 mm long; anther ovate, shorter than rostellum; stigma ventral, nearly orbicular, protruding; rostellum lanceolate, retuse at apex.

分布

• 台灣 : common in mountainous regions below 2,000 m.
• 世界 : India, the Himalaya, southern China, Vietnam, Malaya, and Japan.
