形態特徵

• Stem 5-15 cm tall.
• Leaves 2-4, ovate or orbicular-ovate, 2-5 cm long, 1-3.7 cm wide, acute at apex, rounded at base, dark green and with fine white network on upper surface, reddish purple on lower surface.
• Inflorescence up to 20 cm tall; peduncle reddish brown, glandular hairy, with 2-3 hairy bracts; rachis, few-flowered; floral bracts ovate-lanceolate, hairy. Flowers resupinate; ovary with glandular hairs, curved at apex; sepals glandular hairy outside, reddish brown or yellowish brown, dorsal one broadly ovate, concave, 5.5-6.5 mm long, 5-6 mm wide, lateral ones elliptic, 8-10 mm long, 5-6 mm wide, base shallowly saccate; petals falcate, glabrous, 7-8 mm long, appressed to dorsal sepal forming a hood, hood hat-like, often recurved at apex; lip distinctly tripartite, 12-16 mm long; hypochile spurred, with 2 vertical lobes near mesochile, lobes inrolled, spur parallel to ovary, bearing 2 papillae within; mesochile canaliculate, with pectinate flanges on either side, pale yellow; epichile white, bilobed; column erect, 4 mm long, with 2 ventral appendages; anther orbicular, 3.5 mm across, with a triangular apex; pollinia clavate, 3.5 mm long, attached to a tegula stipe with their slender ends; stigma 2, located on lateral side of column, between base of rostellum and ventral appendages; rostellum bent downward; tegula stipe elliptic-lanceolate,1.5 mm long, viscidium inconspicuous.

• 台灣 : Common in broadleaved forest below 1,500 m throughout the island.
