形態特徵

• Stems villous along a line decurrent from sheath, otherwise glabrous.
• Leaves elliptic-ovate, 4-5 by 1.3-2 cm, fleshy, apex acute, base rounded, both surfaces glabrous, margins ciliate; sheath ca. 6 mm long, pilose.
• Cincinni enclosed in biseriate bracteoles; bract 1-1.3 by 0.5-0.6 cm, bracteoles 0.6-0.8 by 0.3-0.4 cm. Sepals lanceolate, ca. 5 by 1.5 mm, margin and ridge ciliate; petals 5-6 by 3 mm; anthers yellow, base brown, ca. 1 mm long; filaments ca. 7 mm long; ovary usually abortive, ca. 1-2 by 1 mm, apex emarginate; style ca. 7 mm long.
• Capsules ca. 3 mm long. Seeds ca 1.5 by 1 mm, reticulate.

分布

• 台灣 : at low elevations in the north, damp places.
• 世界 : India, southern China, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.
