形態特徵

  • Aquatic herbs without stolons.
  • Floating leaves radical, blades broadly ovate, base deeply cordate, apex obtuse, 3.5 cm long; petiole 15-20 cm long; submersed leaves linear.
  • Inflorescences umbels or cymes; peduncle 10-15 cm long. Flowers 2 or 3, bisexual, involucrate; involucre membranaceous, ca. 7 mm long, 3- or 4-parted, segments broadly triangular, obtuse at apex; pedicel 5 mm long; sepals ovate, 7 mm long, 5-6 mm wide; petals fugacious, nearly equaling sepals in size; stamens 9; carpels ca. 1 mm long.
  • Achenes obliquely oblong, 3 mm long, 2 mm wide, margin irregularly and deeply lobed.

分布

  • 台灣 : in rice fields in northern and central Taiwan.
  • 世界 : Widely distributed in tropical Asia and Africa.
