形態特徵

Perennial herbs, glabrous or pubescent, 5–30 cm tall. Stem stout, a short rhizome with numerous adventitious fibrous roots.
Leaves numerous, in more or less erect to spreading rossette; petiole as long as blade; blade ovate to broadly ovate, rarely oblong, 4–10 cm long, 3–7 cm wide, entire or shallowly dentate.
Scapes to 30 cm. Spikes solitary, to 15 cm long; bracts ovate to broadly ovate, glabrous, usually shorter than sepals. Flowers sessile;sepals 4, elliptic, 2–3 mm long, 1 mm wide, midrib greenish; corolla tubular, 2–2.5 mm long, 4-lobed, segments 1–1.5 mm long, 1 mm wide; stamens 4, exserted from corolla tube, alternate corolla segments, filaments 6–7 mm long, extending beyond corolla tube; anthers ovoid-lanceolate, 1 mm long; pistil 1, 5–6 mm long, style slender, villose, extrude from the corolla tube; ovary depressed ovoid, 1 mm long, green.
Capsule ovoid, 3.5 mm long, 2 mm wide, brownish at maturity. Seeds 6–10(–17), concave, oblong, concave, 1.0–1.5mm long, 0.5–1.0 mm wide, black.

台灣 : fields, roadsides and wet lowlands.
世界 : Eurasia, temperate and subtropical regions.
