形態特徵

• Erect or ascending herbs to 30 cm tall. Stems villose, solitary or 2 or 3 branched.
• Leaves opposite, broadly ovate, with 2 or 3 teeth on one side, apex rounded, base truncate to rounded, 7–10 mm long, 5–7 mm broad, hairy on both surfaces, becoming smaller and alternate when subtending flowers; petiole short or absent.
• Flowers bluish purple, axillary, smaller than calyx, in terminal racemes; calyx cleft nearly to base, 4-lobed, lobes lanceolate or oblong, villose, 2–2.5 mm long; corolla 4-lobed, obovate, glabrous, 2 mm long, shorter than calyx; stamens 2, glabrous, included in corolla; pistil glabrous, ovary ovoid, style dilated at apex; stigma terminal, capitate.
• Capsules obcordate, with stiff hairs, not exceeding calyx, 2 mm long. Seeds ovoid, flat, surface rough, 1 mm long.

分布

• 台灣 : naturalized in open wastelands at 1,900m.
• 世界 : Europe, Africa and Asia.
