形態特徵

• Twining or prostrate herbs, pubescent.
• Leaves ovate or broadly ovate, 3–12 cm long, 4–10 cm broad, base cordate or truncate, apex acuminate to obtuse, appressed-pilose on both surfaces; petiole 1–6 cm long.
• Inflorescences cymes; peduncle 1–10 cm, longer than petiole, pubescent; pedicel 3–5 mm long; bracts oblong-lanceolate, 5–15 mm long; sepals hairy, three outer ones 9–15 mm long, with nerves prominent in fruiting stage, inner ones 7–8 mm long; corolla pale yellow or white with purplish center, 2–2.5 cm long, midpetaline bands pilose, limb with very short rounded, emarginate, mucronate lobes; filaments minutely papillose at base.
• Capsules depressed globose, mucronate, 8 mm long, 10 mm across, patently pilose; seeds glabrous except for pubescent hilum, 5–6 mm long.

分布

• 台灣 : found only in the south.
• 世界 : Tropics of the Old World.
