形態特徵

• Perennial ascending herbs to 40 cm long, often branched from base; branches 4-angled or 4-ribbed, hispid.
• Leaves opposite, sessile or petiolate, linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, 2–9 cm long, 1.5–18 mm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, margin sometimes revolute, glabrous except hirsute along undersurface midrib and margin, midribs prominent, lateral veins obscure; petiole 0–15 mm long; stipular sheath deltate, with 5 or 7 slender bristles.
• Flowers several to many in axillary fascicles, rarely solitary; bracts and bracteoles linear-lanceolate, 1.5–2 mm long, hirsute; calyx ca. 4 mm long, hirsute, lobes narrowly ovate, ca. 2 mm long; corolla white, sparsely hairy on upper inside; stamens inserted apex of tube, exserted; style filiform, stigma clavate.
• Capsule subglobose, 2–3 mm in diam., completely covered by hirsute persistent calyx, septicidal by 2 valves.

• 台灣 : only in the south.
• 世界 : Southeast Asia and Micronesia.
