形態特徵

Small evergreen trees, 5–13 m tall; branches glabrous.
Leaves thin coriaceous, oblong-lanceolate to oblong, 6–14 cm long, 2–4 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base cuneate to attenuate, margin entire, glabrous except crinite at base of lateral veins; petiole 4–15 mm long; stipules deltate, 5–8 mm long, glabrous.
Flowers in pseudoaxillary cymes, opposite a leaf, terminal Inflorescence branches cincinnoid, with peduncle 3–6 mm long, pedicel 1–3 mm long; bracts and bracteoles deltate, 1–2 mm long; calyx ca. 4 mm long, glabrous, 4 or 5-lobed; corolla salverform, pale yellow, ca. 10 mm long, lobes 4–5, oblong-lanceolate, strongly reflexed, glabrous except hairy in throat; stamens exserted; style 12–15 mm long, upper half above the tube strongly thickened.
Berry subglobose, 5–8 mm in diam., glabrous.

分布

台灣 : in lowland evergreen broad-leaved forests.
世界 : Southern China, Japan, Indochina, Malesia, Australia and Polynesia.
