形態特徵
- Evergreen trees, to 5 m high; branchlets pubescent.
- Leaves coriaceous, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, 4–6 cm long, 1.5–2.0 cm wide, apex acute, aristate, base acute or obtuse, 3–5-aristate-toothed on each side, rarely entire, lateral and reticulate veins inconspicuous; petioles pubescent, 0.6–1.0 cm long.
- Flowers several in axillary pedunculate umbellate fascicles; calyx 1.0–1.2 mm long; corolla white, campanulate, 3.5–4.5 mm long.
- Fruit ellipsoid, 1.4–1.6 cm long, ca. 0.6 cm across; pedicels 0.8–1.3 cm long, pubescent.
分布
- 台灣 : in mountains from 600 to 3,000 m.
- 世界 : Mainland China and Japan.
