生活型

形態特徵

  • Small trees ca. 3–12 m tall; branchlets subterete, glabrous.
  • Leaves subcoriaceous, oblong, 8–13 cm long, 4–5 cm wide, obtuse or acuminate or cuspidate at apex, cuneate at base, entire, glabrous, green above, pale green and minutely dotted beneath, lateral veins 7–10 pairs; petioles ca. 3 cm long, glabrous.
  • Inflorescence cymose or thyrsoid, bracteate, bracts elliptic or obovate, deciduous. Flowers white; calyx 4-lobed, lobes broadly ovate or ovate, ca. 0.6 mm long, acute at apex, glabrous, corolla 4-lobed, lobes linear-elliptic, ca. 1.6 mm long, 0.7 mm wide, nearly rounded at apex; filaments very short, anthers ellipsoid; ovary ovoid, glabrous.
  • Fruit ellipsoid, 1.2–1.4 cm long, 7–9 mm across.

分布

  • 台灣 : on Lanyu Is. (Botel Tobago).
  • 世界 : India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, mainland China.
