形態特徵

• Erect shrubs to 2.5 m tall; stems glabrous.
• Leaves chartaceous or subcoriaceous, obovate to elliptic, 5–12 cm long, 3.2–6 cm wide, apex rounded, obtuse, acute to acuminate, base acute, obtuse to subrounded, margins serrate, glabrous on both surfaces, lateral veins 6–9 pairs, longitudinally reticulate veins somewhat distinct above; petioles 1.2–2 cm long, glabrous.
• Inflorescences paniculate, with many or sometimes few branches, glabrous; bracteoles triangular, ovate, orbicular ovate, entire. Flowers white; calyx lobes orbicular ovate, glabrous, entire; corolla campanulate, lobes ovate, ca. 2 mm long, punctate-lineate, glabrous, entire, apex obtuse; pedicels 1.3–1.7 mm long, glabrous.
• Fruit ovoid.

分布

• 台灣 : roadsides and forest edges, Lanyu and Lutao islands.
