形態特徵

• Small trees, branchlets slender.
• Leaves alternate, subcoriaceous, ovate-lanceolate, 6.5–7 cm long, 1.8–2.2 cm broad, glabrous, apex long acuminate or cuspidate-acuminate, base obtuse or acute, margin crenulate serrate; lateral veins ca. 7 pairs, inconspicuous on upper surface; petiole slender, ca. 7 mm long, pilose.
• Racemes axillary, rachis slender, glabrous, to 6 cm long; pedicel ca. 7 mm long, glabrous; bracts foliaceous, lanceolate, margin crenulate, ca. 6 mm long; calyx tube cup-shaped, lobes triangular, apex acute, slightly ciliate; corolla campanulate, glabrous, ca. 5 mm long, 6 mm wide, 5-lobed, lobes obtuse, ca. 3 mm long; filaments subulate, villose, ca. 0.8 mm long; anther cells oblong, base obtuse, ca. 1.2 mm long, with 2 very short dorsal spurs, tubules cylindric, 0.8–1 mm long; disk nearly glabrous; style glabrous, ca. 5 mm long, exserted.

分布

• 台灣 : in forests, 1,600–2,300 m.
