形態特徵

• A scandent glabrous shrub.
• Leaves short-petiolate, ovate to oblong, 4–10 cm long, about 3 cm broad, caudate-acuminate, broadly acute at base, crenulate along the margins, the midrib conspicuous above, raised beneath, the lateral veins 4 or 5 per side, conspicuous, the veinlets very fine, parallel, subconspicuous.
• Inflorescence in axillary clusters or cymes, sometimes paniculate; flowers about 2.5 mm across; calyx-lobes 5, triangular, caducous; petals 5, spatulate; stamens 5; ovary 2-celled, the style 2-lobed.
• Fruit depressed-globose, winged, indehiscent.

分布

• 台灣 : in thickets at low to medium altitudes.
• 世界 : Tropical Asia.
