生活型

形態特徵
- A small evergreen tree to 15 m.
- Leaves coriaceous, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, 8–11 cm long, 2.5–4 cm broad, acuminate to caudate-acuminate, cuneate, nearly entire, glabrous on both surfaces, green and slightly shining above, pale green beneath, the costa and veins slightly raised above, distinctly raised beneath, the lateral veins about 5 per side; petioles very slender and long, 5–10 cm long, glabrous, canaliculate.
- Inflorescence in terminal panicles to 15 cm long, ferrugineous-pubescent; sepals 3, ciliate at margins; petals 3, variable in size; stamens 2, glabrous; staminodes 2.
- Drupe globose, 5–6 mm across.
分布
- 台灣 : in broad-leaved forests at low altitudes, up to 700 m, throughout the island.
- 世界 : Southern China.
