形態特徵

• An erect shrub; woody branches angular and densely clothed with appressed hairs.
• Leaves trifoliolate; terminal leaflet ovate, obovate-oblong or elliptic, 5–10 cm long, 4–5 cm wide, obtuse or subacute at the apex, with appressed grey hairs beneath; petioles 3–5cm long; stipules lanceolate, acuminate, 7–10 mm long, persistent.
• Flowers lanceolate, acuminate, 7–10 mm long, persistent, pseudoracemes, moderately close; pedicels 5–7 mm long, finely hairy; calyx deeply cleft, 4–5 mm long; corolla purple.
• Pods 3–5 cm long, 5–8-jointed, constricted on both sutures, clothed with dense appressed silky hairs.

分布

• 台灣 : Taiwan, in the open roadside, rocky slope, margin of grassland, margin of forest, at elevation between 700 and 2,000 m high, in the central and southern part of mountain area.
• 世界 : The Himalayas to Mainland China;
