形態特徵

A climbing shrub; stems pubescent and provided with many patent red bristles up to 7 mm long; prickles few, curved.
Leaves 3-foliolate; terminal leaflets larger, elliptic to rounded, sometimes obovate, 6–15 cm long, 4–12 cm wide, the apex truncate-caudate, the base rounded, the lateral leaflets oblique, elliptic-ovate, 4–8 cm long, 3–5 cm wide, the apex acuminate, the base rounded, the margins dentate-cuspidate, upper surface dark green and slightly pubescent on the midrib, lower surface slightly paler and pubescent along the veins beneath, the midrib and veins impressed above, raised beneath, often prickly; petioles 2.5–4 cm long, densely setose and sparsely prickly; stipules linear up to 1 cm long, pubescent and setose.
Inflorescence an axillary umbel of 4–8 Flowers; pedicels short, minutely prickly and pubescent; calyx-lobes triangular-ovate, 5–7 mm long, the apex cuspidate, both surfaces tomentose; petals white, spathulate to elliptic-obovate, 6–10 mm long, the apex acute or rounded, with straight hairs on both sides; stamen glabrous; ovary with few hairs on the top, the styles up to 2 mm long.
Collective fruits globose, up to 8 mm across, exocarp yellow to orange when ripe.

台灣 : Taiwan, from low to medium altitudes.
世界 : Vietnam, the Himalayas region and China.
