形態特徵

A scandent and deciduous shrub; stems dark purplish, glabrous; prickles few, up to 5 mm long.
Leaves simple, chartaceous, ovate to ovate-oblong in outline, unlobed to deeply 3-lobed, 4–12 cm long, 2–10 cm wide, the apex acuminate, the base cordate, unevenly serrate to biserrate, glabrous on both surfaces, usually paler or whitish beneath, 3–5-nerved at base, midrib and veins slightly impressed above, raised and prominent beneath; petioles 1.5–3 cm long, glabrous, prickly; stipules linear-lanceolate, 5–10 mm long, glabrous.
Flowers few in short racemes, terminal or axillary; pedicels 1–2.5 cm long; bracts linear; calyx cupular, glabrous outside, pale tomentose inside, the lobes triangular-ovate to lanceolate, 4–7 mm long, the apex acuminate to long-pointed, blackish when dry; petals white, obovate, 6–10 mm long, both surfaces slightly pubescent; stamens glabrous; styles up to 2 mm long, hirsute at base.
Collective fruits globose, exocarp light reddish when ripe.

台灣 : Taiwan, along roadsides and edges of forests at medium altitudes.
世界 : China.
