形態特徵

Climbing shrubs up to 2 m long; stems densely hairy when young, the indumentum disappearing with age; prickles usually few, curved.
Leaves simple, chartaceous, oblong-lanceolate to ovate, 6–12 cm long, 3–6 cm wide, the apex acute or obtuse and then shortly to rather long acuminate, the base rounded, the margin serrate-crenate; nervation pinnate, with 6–8 pairs of lateral nerves, nerves and veins slightly impressed above, slightly prominent below, almost glabrous on both surfaces, but usually rather densely hairy on midrib and larger veins, nearly concolored when dry; petioles 5–10 mm long, hairy and prickled; stipules early falling, linear-lanceolate, apically divided into 3–5 lobes, hairy.
Inflorescence a terminal panicle up to 30 cm long; pedicels 5–8 mm long, densely hairy; bracts up to 8 mm long, apicaly divided into few lobes; calyx-lobes triangular to ovate, 6–8 mm long, entire or parted at apex, hairy outside and densely shortly woolly inside; petals elliptic to obovate, 3–4 mm long, white, glabrous; pistils few, with many long hairs on the dorsal side.
Collective fruits loose, about 5 mm across, red.

分布

台灣 : Taiwan, in broad-Leaved forests at low altitudes.
世界 : China, Laos, S. Vietnam, Thailand, Sumatra, Celebes, Borneo, Philippines.
