A erect shrub. Stems flexuose, glabrous, unarmed.
Leaves orbicular, 8–18 cm across, palmately 3–7-lobed, deeply cordate, glabrous on both surfaces, slightly pubescent on the midrib and veins; petioles 3–6 cm long; stipules ovate-lanceolate, 6–8 mm long, entire.
