形態特徵

A scandent shrub; stems pubescent, with few to many prickles.
Leaves 3-foliolate, the terminal leaflets obovate to broadly rhomboid, 1.5–4 cm across, usually shallowly 3-lobed; lateral leaflets smaller, oblique, obovate; rounded to obtuse at apex, cuneate to obtuse at base, the margins unevenly dentate, slightly hairy above, densely whitish-tomentose beneath, the midrib and veins slightly impressed above, raised beneath; petioles 1–4 cm long, pubescent and prickly; stipules linear to linear-lanceolate, up to 1.5 cm long, pubescent outside, glabrous inside.
Flowers in short racemes or corymbs, axillary or terminal; pedicels 6–12 mm long; calyx-lobes ovate-oblong, 5–8 mm long, the apex abruptly acuminate, outside pubescent and prickly, inside tomentose; petals pink, broadly spathulate, 4–10 mm long, glabrous; stamens glabrous; ovary hairy, style up to 4 mm long, hairy at base.
Collective fruits globose, 7–10 mm across, exocarp red when ripe.

台灣 : Taiwan, at low altitudes throughtout the whole island.
世界 : Japan, Korea, Indo-China, China.
