形態特徵

A shrub; branches with sparse prickles, densely glandular-pilose, often also soft-pubescent, the prickles up to 4 mm long, straight to curved.
Leaves imparipinnate, up to 20 cm long; leaflets usually 3–5, sometimes up to 10 on young branches, chartaceous, ovate-oblong to lanceolate, 3–7 cm long, 2–5 cm wide, apex acute to long-tapering, base varying from acute to cordate, margins biserrate, both surfaces patently soft-hairy, usually with some small prickles on the midrib beneath, the margin sometimes glandular-hairy; petioles 2–5 cm long, glandular-hairy prickly and pubescent; stipules linear to lanceolate-linear, 5–10 mm long.
Flower solitary or few together terminating the branches; pedicels and calyx glandular-pilose and hirsute; calyx-lobes triangular-oblong, 7–15 mm long, with long caudate tips, wooly within and along margin ; petals nearly orbicular, 8–14 mm long, white, shortly hairy outside; ovary up to 1mm long, with some hairs especially apically and usually with few shortly stalked glands; style about 1.5 mm long.
Collective fruits ovoid to globose, sometimes more ellipsoid, 1–2 cm across, red when ripe.

台灣 : Taiwan, in open places like clearing, forest-edges, roadsides, landslides, grassland, and riverbanks, at altitudes from sea-level up to 1,000 m.
世界 : India, Indo-China, China and the Ryukyus.
