特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

A low creeping subshrub; stems slender, sometimes rooting at nodes, densely pubescent; prickles few, about 1 mm long.
Leaves simple, rounded, 4–15 cm across, always shallowly 3–5-lobed, the lobes rounded or obtuse, the base 5-nerved, cordate to deeply cordate, the veins slightly impressed above, raised and prominent beneath, upper surface slightly pubescent but with dense hairs on the nerves, lower surface densely hirsute, the margins dentate; petioles 4–8 cm long, densely pubescent; stipules linear-oblong, 8–15 mm long, deeply lacerate, outside pubescent, inside glabrous.
Inflorescence a compact raceme, mostly axillary, up to 3 cm long; pedicels 5–10 mm long, pubescent; bracts similar to stipules; calyx-lobes ovate-lanceolate, 4–10 mm long, sometimes apically divided, outside tomentose and with long hairs, inside tomentose; petals white, ovate, 4–7 mm long, glabrous; stamens and pistils glabrous.
Collective fruit globose, 6–8 mm across, exocarp red when ripe.

台灣 : Taiwan, from low to medium altitudes.
世界 : China, Japan, and Korea.
