形態特徵

  • A small evergreen shrub; branchlets glabrous, the prickles paired or scattered.
  • Leaves mostly 5–7-foliolate, rarely 3; leaflets elliptic or oblong, the terminal one largest, 0.5–2.5 cm long, 0.2–1.5 cm wide, the apex obtuse to acute, or rounded to truncate, the upper surface nearly glabrous, the lower surface pubescent along the midrib, the margin acute-serrulate, sometimes with sparsely glandular hairs; rachis and petioles puberulent, thinly glandular-airy and sparsely prickled; stipules lanceolate, up to 1 cm long, more than half of their length adnate to the petioles, ciliate-glandular along the margin, nearly glabrous or thinly puberulent on both sides.
  • Flowers solitary, paired or 3–5 in cymes; pedicels about 1.5 cm long, with ciliate-glandular hairs; calyx-lobes triangular-ovate, acuminate, tomentose inside, glandular and pubescent outside, laciniate and glandular-hairy along the margin; petals 5, white, obovate, about 1 cm long, 6–8 mm wide, emarginate at apex; styles glabrous or nearly so.
  • Fruits about 6 mm across.

分布

  • 台灣 : In thickets at high altitudes around the central mountains.
  • 世界 : Philippines (Luzon).
