形態特徵

An evergreen shrub or small tree.
Leaves oblong or elliptic, 4–7 cm long, 1–2 cm wide, the apex acute or obtuse, the base cuneate-decurrent, coarsely serrate but entire toward the base, glabrous on both surfaces; stipules lanceolate, 2–3 cm long, tomentose.
Inflorescence a terminal panicle, densely ferruginous-tomentose; pedicels about 1 cm long, densely tomentose when young, glabrous in fruit; bracts linear-lanceolate, caducous; calyx-lobes lanceolate, 4–5 mm long, 1 mm wide, pubescent outside, ciliate along the margin; petals white, long-obovate, acute to obtuse at apex, 8–9 mm long, 5 mm wide.
Fruits globose, 5–6 mm across.

台灣 : In the central and northern parts of the island at low altitudes.
