形態特徵

An evergreen tree, the bark gray, with pale lenticels.
Leaves nearly coriaceous, oblong-ovate to oblong-lanceolate, 7–12 cm long, 2–4 cm wide, caudate?-acuminate, broadly acute at base, entire or slightly wavy, green and more or less lustrous above, pale and black-punctate beneath, the lateral veins 10–12 per side; petioles to 5 mm long.
Flowers 6–8 mm across, in axillary racemes 4–5 cm long; calyx obconical, the lobes rounded; petals rounded, 4–5 mm long, emarginate.
Fruits globose, 7–8 mm across, red.

分布

台灣 : very common in thickets at 500–1,500 m throughout this island.
世界 : Assam and southern China.
