形態特徵

An evergreen medium tree; branches with distinct leaf-scars.
Leaves coriaceous, crowded at the top of branchlets, oblong to lanceolate, 5–10 cm long, 2–3 cm wide, the apex acute to acuminate, rarely obtuse, the base obtuse, glabrous on both surfaces, entire or wavy, petioles mostly 5–10 mm long, glabrous.
Flowers paniculate, thinly pubescent or glabrous; calyx 5-lobed, the lobes triangular, thinly pubescent outside; petals 5, orbicular; ovary pubescent; styles 5, the stigma thickened.
Pomes globose, 5–7 mm across, red at maturity.(seed 2.78-3.89*1.11-1.56mm)

分布

台灣 : in the central mountains at 2,000–2,500 m.
世界 : Vietnam and China.
