形態特徵

A climbing glabrous shrub.
Leaves thin-chartaceous, elliptic to ovate, 10–15 cm long, 5.5–8 cm broad, cuneate at base, serrulate, dark above, tomentose along the veins, pale beneath, with tufts of hairs in nerve axiles and on veinlets, the midrib and veins slender, slightly raised beneath, the lateral nerves 7–9 per side straight-ascending; petioles 4–5 cm long, slightly pubescent.
Inflorescence a terminal panicle about 15 cm long and 14 cm or more broad; calyx glabrous, 5-lobed; ovary 2-celled; outer sterile flowers long-pedicellate, pedicels to 2–3 cm long, sepals broadly orbicular, about 1.2 cm long and 9 mm broad, truncate to emarginate at apex, entire.
Capsules globose, about 5 mm across; strongly nerved, with persistent sepals and styles at top.

台灣 : in forests at high altitudes in the northern and central parts.
世界 : The Himalayas, India to West and South China.
