形態特徵

Small shrub.
Leaves crowded at apex of branches, about 40 cm long; leaflets 3-14 pairs, opposite, sessile, ovate to lanceolate, 4-10 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide, cuspidate-acuminate at apex, roundish at base, margins sparsely spinose-serrate, teeth 3-5 pairs, short spinose, dark green on upper surface, yellowish-green on lower surface, 3-nerved.
Racemes dense Flowered, few- to 10-fascicled, ca. 15 cm long, rachis not fleshy; bracts triangular-ovate, about 3.5 mm long, and 2 mm wide; pedicels ca. 2 mm long; Flowers yellow, sepals 6, in 2 series, inner ones larger; petals 6, oblong, ca. 5 mm long; stamens 6, anthers 2-celled; ovules 2-6. .
Berry ellipsoid, ca. 3.5 mm long, bluish black, somewhat pruinose, stylose.
