特徵描述

生活型

herb

形態特徵

  • Herb with creeping rhizomes; stems solitary, erect, ca. 20-40 cm tall, mostly 2-leaved.
  • Leaves peltate-orbicular, ca. 30 cm across, 6-8-lobed, the lobes broadly triangular, acute, minutely dentate, ciliate along margins.
  • Flowers 5-8, crowded in axil of the two cauline leaves, pendulous, ca. 10 cm across, embraced by 3 glaucous bracts; sepals 6, oblanceolate 2.1-2.4 cm long, 0.7-0.8 cm wide, dark reddish-purple; petals 6-9, oblanceolate, longer than sepals, 2.7-3.0 cm long, 1.3-1.5 cm wide, without basal glands inside; stamens 6; ovary light yellow, ovules 50-60.
  • Berry ellipsoid.

分布

  • 台灣 : In the northern and central ranges from 700 to 2,500 m.
  • 世界 : Central and southeastern China.
