生活型

形態特徵

  • Small Evergreen trees; branchlets glabrous.
  • Leaves ovate-lanceolate to oblong, 6-9 cm long, 1.8-2.5 cm broad, thinly coriaceous, acuminate to obtuse apex, obtuse to acute at base, glabrous and lustrous above, glabrous and glaucous beneath, pinnate veined or subtrinerved, lateral veins 4 pairs, veinlets obscure; petioles 1-1.5 cm long.
  • Inflorescences glomerulate, axillary or lateral; involucral bracts nearly rounded, puberulent outside; pedicels glabrescent; tepals 4, ovate-oblong, puberulent; staminate flowers with 6 fertile stamens; 1st and 2nd whorles of stamens eglandular, 3rd whorl with 2 glands; pistillate flowers with 6(-8) staminodes; ovary ovoid, 1 mm long, style hirsute, stigma with 2 flimsy lobes.
  • Fruit ovoid, 7 mm long, with persistent tepals; pedicels 1 cm long, pubescent to glabrous.

  • 台灣 : in broad-leaved forests at high altitudes throughout the island.
