形態特徵

Annual ascending herbs, to 50 cm tall; stems branched, glabrous; nodes enlarged.
Leaves subsessile to sessile, linear-lanceolate, 5–8 cm long, 0.4–0.7 cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate to truncate, both surfaces glabrous to loosely sericeous, beneath veins strigose; ocreae tubular, 0.5–1.5 cm long, apex truncate, pilose, upper margin cilia almost as long as ocreae.
Inflorescences 5–6-flowered fascicles in spike-like racemes, terminal or in axils of upper leaves, densely flowered, interrupted below, 3–5 cm long; peduncles glabrous, 1.5–2.5 cm long; bracts oblique funnelform, glabrous to loosely pilose, apex acute, upper margins ciliate. Flowers white; pedicels included; perianth segments 5, elliptic, 2–3 mm long, apex obtuse; stamens 8; styles 3-cleft, included; nectaries present.
Achenes brown, trigonous, smooth, shining, 2–3 mm long.
