形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stems erect, to 1.3 m tall, with stinging hairs, glabrescent.
• Leaves with stinging and velutinous hairs on both surfaces, widely depressed ovate to ovate, 6-13 cm long, 5.5-12 cm wide, base cordate, margins double serrate, with 1-3 small teeth on each side of the tooth, apex acute, acuminate or cuspidate; petioles 3-13 cm long; stipules 2, free, lateral, greenish, ovate, ca. 1 cm long, 7 mm broad, margins entire, apex obtuse to rounded.
• Inflorescences unisexual, racemose spikes, male inflorescences on lower part of stem, to 12 cm long.
• Achenes compressed ovoid, ca. 1.2 mm long, 0.8 mm wide.

Flowering and fruiting summer into winter.

• 台灣 : throughout the island at low to high altitudes.
• 世界 : Japan and Korea.
