形態特徵

Perennial herbs; stems slender, usually creeping or ascending, subterete, with retrorse hairs along both edges of the furrow, and many brown 4-celled scales.
Leaves membranaceous to herbaceous, sparsely hirsute above, glabrous beneath, asymmetrically oblong or obovate, 0.9-1.8 cm long, basiscopic half semi-cordate, margins minutely ciliolate, serrate, teeth 2 or 3 on basiscopic half, 1 or 2 on acroscopic half, apex acute, obtuse or rounded; stipules 2, unequal, 1-nerved.
Male inflorescences usually 1-6-flowered glomerules, sometimes 25- or more-flowered cymose glomerules; bracts 2, incompletely connate and forming an involucre, cymbiform, keeled; peduncles to 1.3 cm long. Female inflorescences usually 1-flowered; bracts 2, hirsute, connate at base, cymbiform. Male flowers slightly laterally compressed, obovoid; sepals 4, connate below middle, cymbiform; pedicels ca. 1.3 mm long. Female flowers with 6 or 7 rudimentary sepals; staminodes 6 or 7; ovary ovoid.
Achenes glabrous, inconspicuously 4-ribbed below apex, ovoid.

台灣 : at medium and high altitudes throughout the central mountains, mostly in moist ravines.
