形態特徵

Subshrubs; stems erect or ascending, terete, hirsute.
Leaves chartaceous, pubescent above, appressed-hairy along veins beneath, asymmetrically narrowly elliptic, oblong to lanceolate, to 15.5 cm long, 4.5 cm wide, base of distal half acute, margins sharply serrate, apex acuminate; stipules 2, hirsute beneath, narrowly triangular, stipule of nanophyll 1-veined, stipule of normal leaf 2-veined.
Male inflorescences subsessile, ellipsoid-discoid; bracts connate into an oblong involucre, hirsute outside, to 5 mm long, 2 mm wide. Female inflorescences sessile or subsessile, hirsute outside, ellipsoid-discoid; bracts hirsute, connate into a narrowly oblong involucre. Male flowers hirsute outside, widely obovoid; sepals 4, valvate, larger ones obovate-cymbiform, smaller ones elliptic-cymbiform; bracteoles cymbiform; pedicels ca. 2.2 mm long. Female flowers pedicellate; bracteoles semi-transparent, linear; sepals 3; ovary glabrous, ellipsoid.
Achenes conspicuously 8-ribbed, ellipsoid.

物候

Flowering late October to May.

分布

台灣 : at low to medium altitudes throughout the island, growing along trails, on moist forest floors and in ravines.
世界 : Nepal, Bhutan, India, Indo-china and China.
