形態特徵

Dioecious shrubs or small trees, to 6 m tall; stems branched, gray-brown, densely pubescent, with short usually appressed hairs.
Leaves lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, 6-24 cm long, 0.6-5.2 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, margins usually very finely serrulate, base rounded or slightly cuneate, sparsely pubescent or glabrous above, gray tomentose between veins beneath; petioles 0.5-1.5(-2.4) cm long, appressed hairy.
Inflorescences axillary, once or twice dichotomously branched, pedunculate or rarely subsessile.
Achenes ovoid, slightly compressed, 0.2-0.6 mm long, perianth persistent, orange, fleshy.
