特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

Trees up to 25 m tall; branchlets slender.
Leaves chartaceous, elliptic to oblong, 6-15 cm long, 3-5 cm broad, apex mucronate to short caudate, base acute to rounded, oblique, margins double serrate, scabrous on both surfaces, lateral veins 11-15 pairs; petioles stout, 4-5 mm long, pubescent.
Flowers many, in short axillary cymes; calyx campanulate, ca. 3 mm long, 5-lobed, lobes rounded at apex, glabrous outside, margins ciliate.
Fruit a membranous samara, ovate to oblong.

台灣 : In forests from 800 to 2,500 m in the central part.
