形態特徵

Deciduous trees; branchlets with both appressed or erect velutious hairs and glandular hairs.
Leaves chartaceous, ovate-oblong to oblong-lanceolate, 6-15 cm long 2-6 cm broad, apex acute to acuminate, base obliquely obtuse to cordate, margins crenate-serrulate, densely to sparsely scabrid on upper surface, completely velutinous and woolly on lower surface, lateral veins 4-6 pairs; petioles 8-15 mm long.
Flowers in axillary cymes, unisexual or bisexual; calyx lobes 5, pubescent; stamens 5; ovary ovoid, glabrous.
Drupe ovoid, ca. 3 mm across, black, glabrous.

分布

台灣 : on plains, river sides and hills throughout the island.
世界 : SE. and E. Asia, Japan , Ryukyus, Polynesia, New Guinea, India and Indochina.
