形態特徵

• Deciduous trees; branchlets slender, spreading, sparsely appressed-hirsute when young.
• Leaves membranous, ovate-oblong to ovate-lanceolate, 7-8 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm broad, apex long acuminate, base cordate, rounded to truncate, margins crenate-serrulate, nearly glabrous on both surfaces, except slightly hairy along midrib and lateral veins, lateral veins 3 or 4 pairs; petioles 5-10 mm long, pubescent.
• Flowers in axillary cymes; calyx lobes 4 or 5, membranous.
• Fruit a drupe, ca. 2 mm across, glabrous.

分布

• 台灣 : in open places and secondary thickets at low altitudes in the northern and central parts.
• 世界 : Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Indochina, Hainan, thoughout Malesia, Australia, Melanesia to Micronesia, Japan and Ryukyus.
