特徵描述

形態特徵

Rhizomes short, ascending or erect, scaly.
Fronds tufted; stipes stramineous, 10-25 cm long, sparsely scaly, the scales broad and thin, pale-brown; laminae 100-150 cm long, about 40 cm wide, with 30 or more pairs of lateral pinnae, below them several pairs of pinnae abruptly shortened to auricles; largest pinnae about 25 cm long and 3 cm wide; lower pinnae 5-7 cm apart, the upper much closer; apices of the pinna lobes truncate; veins in each lobe to about 6 pairs, the lowet pair of adjacent groups anastomosing and forming excurrent veins which run out to the sinus membrane, the higher veins passing to the sides of the sinus memlrane, or to the free edges of the lobes.
Sori round, submedial on the lateral veins; indusia glabrous, entire, usually shrivelled in mature sori.

台灣 : Growing in forests, usually along stream banks at 300-1,500 m mountains.
世界 : the tropics throughout the world.
