形態特徵

• Stipes 11-23 cm long, densely scaly, scales patent, rufo-brown, concolorous, two types: one smaller, lanceolate to linear, long acuminate, the other very large, lanceolate to broadly ovate, ca. 1 cm long or longer, apex acuminate, sometimes round.
• Lamina bipinnate, narrowly lanceolate, 40-60 cm long, 8-10 cm broad, long acuminate, usually more or less narrowed below, rigid coriaceous; pinna oblong, rarely somewhat falcate, 4-5 cm long, 13-17 mm broad, more or less ascending, lower ones rather remote, basal pair often deflexed downward and more or less reduced; pinnules broadly ovate-acuminate, imbricate, apex pungent, margin thickened, entire, sometimes with 1-2 pungent teeth in larger pinnules; small scales on undersurface of pinna fiberous, crispate, rufo-brown.
• Sori terminal on veinlets; indusia round, entire or undulate on margin, rigid, persistent.

分布

• 台灣 : at high altitude about 3,000 m, very rare.
• 世界 : Nepal, Bhutan, India, China and Japan.
