型態特徵
Large epiphytic or petrophilous ferns. Rhizome fleshy, thick as a finger, creeping, dictyostelic, covered with non-clathrate scales with ciliate margins. Fronds of 2 distinct type: one type of small oak-like, nonchlorophyll-bearing leaves covering the rhizome; venation anastomosing; other type of large deeply pinnatifid or pinnate green leaves; larger areolae containing smaller areolae and branching veinlets. Sori round, exindusiate, borne on junction of veins.
