型態特徵

Rhizome creeping or erect, dictyostelic. Stipes not articulate to rhizome, covered with scales at base; fronds strongly dimorphic; sterile fronds herbaceous, pinnate to bipinnatifid; venation free or anastomosing; fertile fronds pinnate to bipinnate, dark to nearly black. Sporangia covered by an inner indusium and by coriaceous reflexed leaf margin. Spores green.
