Belamcanda 射干屬
型態特徵
Perennial herbs; rhizome conspicuous, creeping or horizontal. Stem long. Leaves mostly crowded in lower half of stem, distichous, ensiform, upper ones distant, rather small. Flowers rather large, oranged red, dotted, widely opening; inflorescence terminal corymbose; perianth actinomorphic; tepals basally short connate, widely patent, clawed, inner ones smaller; stamens 6, filaments free, filiform, inserted at base of tepals; anthers linear, affixed in a shallow basal incision; ovary 3-celled; style clavate, very gradually thickened upward, 3-cleft. Capsules oblong to pyriform, with 3 deep longitudinal furrows, 3- lobed, valves 3, recurving sharply at maturity, soon deciduous, exposing a mass of round, black, fleshy seeds attached to a central column. Seeds rather large, globose to subglobose; testa more or less fleshy.
