型態特徵
Ferns of moderate size, often on limestone; rhizomes short-creeping, covered with a mass of large reddish-brown scales. Stipes approximate, borne in two rows from upper side of rhizome, the base inflated and dark, scaly, slender above the base and setose; laminae deltoid-ovate, tripinnate or 4-pinnatifid; pinnae subanadromous or opposite, the pinnules incised, herbaceous, setose throughout with white setae; grooves of the rachillae not running into that of the rachis; venation free, pinnate in the lobes. Sori round, dorsal on the veins; indusia reniform and usually asymmetrical, vaulted, setose especially on the margin; sporangia setose, the receptacles prominent. Spores bilateral, oblong or roundish, almost black, crudely tuberculate.
