型態特徵
Mostly epiphytes with long creeping scaly rhizomes. Stipes articulate to rhizome; fronds usually broadly deltoid and often finely dissected, but sometimes simple, venation free. Sori submarginal, terminal on veinlets; indusia tubula, scale-like, or linear and continuous, opening towards margin.

型態特徵
Rhizomes long-creeping, densely covered with peltate scales; c. s. of rhizome round or oval, with a ring of bundles, on large flattened bundle on upper and one on lower side, these near center, and small round bundles in an arc on either side. Fronds deltoid or more often pentagonal, usually finely dissected; the texture usually firm; veins free. Indusia tubular, 2 or 3 times as long as wide, attached by sides as well as base.
