Hylotelephium 八寶屬
型態特徵
A perennial herb, glabrous, rosulate. Stem stout, short-rounded, sometimes woody. Leaves alternate, opposite or 3–4–5-whorled, fleshy, waxy. Inflorescence cymose, umbellate-paniculate, compound-umbellate, terminal; flowers bisexual, solitary, 5-merous, blossom in summer and autum; sepals fleshy, green, connect at base; petals longer than sepals, membranous, green-purple; stamens 10, 2-whorled, anthers connate at base, purple, rarely white; glands usually oblong, ascending, white; pistil distinct, ovary simple, 1-celled, almost erect, stipitate or attenuate at base, the abdomen side swelling, the placentation marginal; style usally short than ovary, acuminate; stigma acute and opaque; ovules elliptical, erect or ascending, inverted. Follicle erect, many-seeded, elliptical, brown, striped.
About 28 species in the temperate regions of the Northern Hemispere, one species in Taiwan.
