型態特徵

Deciduous trees. Leaves compound, odd-pinnate, alternate, estipulate, the leaflets opposite. Inflorescence racemose. Flowers bisexual, perigynous; calyx-tube campanulate; petals 5, imbricate, inserted on the calyx-tube; stamens 8, the anthers versatile, 2-celled, longitudinally dehiscent; pistil 3-locular, the placenta axile, the ovules 2 in each locule, the style solitary. Fruit a capsule; seed subglobose.

One genus. In the South Mainland China and Taiwan.
