型態特徵
Deciduous or evergreen trees, shrubs or scandent shrubs. Leaves alternate, simple, mostly entire, estipulate. Flowers bisexual, rarely unisexual, actinomorphic, brown to tawny-yellow; sepals usually 3, free or partly connate, valvate or often imbricate; petals usually 6, valvate, in 2 series; stamens num-erous, about 75-1,000, spirally arranged or rarely definite, filaments short, anthers extrorse or sublateral, connectives often enlarged; carpels 1-400, free or rarely united, styles 0 to short, stigmas distinct; ovules 1 to numerous. Fruit of 1 or more berries, capsules, or rarely an aggregate fleshy syncarp (in Annona), sessile to stalked; seeds large, 1-numerous; endosperm ruminate; embryo minute.

In the tropics of the Old and New World with extensions into temperate regions; 80 genera and over 750 species. Taiwan, three genera and four species.

型態特徵
Erect shrubs or trees. Leaves alternate, coriaceous; lateral veins 8-15 paired. Inflorescences axillary, leaf-opposed, solitary to short umbellate clusters; sepals 3, valvate or subimbricate, small; petals 6, 2-seriate, green to yellowish green, lanceolate elongated or inner ones vaulted, torus conves; receptacles ellipsoid at the tip of pedicel; stamens cuneate; anther-cells extrorse, remote; ovaries numerous, indefinite, style usually oblong, ovules 1 or 2, basal and erect or subbasal and ascending; ripe carpels 1 seeded. Drupes berried, ellipsoid, endosperm ruminate.
